What is DEATH?

Recently there have been continuous news of deaths, KPOP Sulli, Goo Hara and latest was South Korean actor Cha In-ha was found dead. Buddhist leader Bro. Sarath’s, friend’s father, sibling, child’s passing were in the Buddhist circle’s whatapp news.

Ajahn Brahm mentioned sometime ago, that actually we got our perception all reversed. When there is a birth of a child, everyone around was happy but the baby was crying. When there is a death everyone around was crying but the dead person is smiling.

If we were aware of what had happen to us is previous lives when we are born, I think the baby will say “Oh NO, not again”

Lord Buddha advised us that Death may come to anyone at anytime. Doesn’t matter whether you are rich or poor, old or young, healthy or weak, it’s all the same. Many of Buddha’s disciples went to become monks and nuns to practise the way out of being reborn again and again.

It’s been about 2500 year since Buddha’s passing into para nibbana and I’m are still here, unawaken. What do I have to do to stop this natural way of being recycle life after life?

Make peace, be kind, be gentle
